Why Coaching?
My main motivation is to help others have the success and life change as I have had from it. It is easy to say to eat healthy and work out but when you truly believe in something, you want to share it with everyone and really change people’s lives. Clients find me to be extremely friendly and trusting. When you are in a vulnerable state with losing weight, you want to be coached by someone who is passionate about your success and has your overall best interest in mind. I believe as a coach I have all the necessary qualities to motivate, direct and be a friend in this exciting but new process. I enjoy helping people and I truly feel like it’s my calling. I have been through the ups and downs of weight loss and I know what you are going through. Many of my clients have busy lives, including children, travel and social obligations. My clients and I work together as a team to address these challenges. I want to help as many people as possible to feel better about themselves and improve their quality of life. It really is quite that simple.
Connection to Nutrition, Health and Fitness
I have struggled with my weight due to a thyroid condition that showed up after my first daughter was born which was 22 years ago. My treatment included radioactive iodine to treat my hyperactive thyroid which caused me to gain 50 pounds in three months. As a result of this, I struggled with losing that weight until I found Ideal Protein.
Nutritional Beliefs
I have found that if I focus on having a diet with more protein and less sugar, I always feel better. I have more energy and less cravings, and feel in control of my eating habits.
Why Ideal Protein (IP)?
I found Ideal Protein through my sister-in-law who had breast cancer. Upon completion of her cancer treatment, she participated in a clinical trial using Ideal Protein products to show the link between obesity and the recurrence of breast cancer. She lost 106 pounds in less than ten months and has successfully kept it off. I started Ideal Protein about two years ago and lost 75 pounds in five months. I have tried many different weight loss programs and was marginally successful.

I am available Wednesday, Wednesday evenings as well as Fridays.
